Fáilte Ireland
Selling a coastline without the postcard clichés.
About the project
A tourism campaign for Ireland’s coastline, built to feel like a real place rather than a brochure. The brief covered the visual direction, a set of films, and the graphic system that carried it across posters, social and out-of-home.
Opportunity
Tourism campaigns default to the same handful of shots: a cliff, a sunset, a pint. The brief was to make the coast feel like somewhere people actually live, not just a backdrop.
Process
We shot on the coast in the weather it actually gets, not just the good days, and built a graphic system loose enough to carry a fishing village and a city street with the same confidence.
Outcome
A campaign that felt more like a postcard from a friend than an advert, running across posters, social and film.
